Hotel Kingfisher has an obvious locational advantage being situated near the ferry and the market. Neil Island is very small and isolated island and thus this hotel is not that far from the alluring blue seas. It hardly takes about 15 – 30 minutes by road to reach the nearest of beaches. Hotel Kingfisher is situated on the left of the market on the road to the gorgeous Laxmanpur Beach.

It is a nice and budget hotel. The staff is very courteous and friendly and makes the guests feel at home and comfortable. Food quality is quite good. South Indian breakfast spread is awesome in taste and comes at a reasonable price too. The hotel is a two-storied building having around 10 or 12 rooms. There is a bar-cum-restaurant available at the ground floor. There is also a separate family restaurant for those wishing to avoid the bar.

This is a simple and unassuming budget hotel and proves to be value for money. This is not exactly a luxury hotel and comes with the necessities. It is recommended for people with limited budget. It is good option at low budget.

The rooms are ordinary and nothing fancy. It is recommended for people who are staying for short duration – say for a night. The guests can enjoy the facilities like alarm clock to catch a certain ferry or to plan a visit to the island attractions in a time-bound manner. The facilities include free bottled water, shower in the washroom, bathrobes, ironing facilities, telephone, blackout curtains, mini bar, toiletries, fan, satellite/cable channels and flat screen television.
