How many days are enough for an Andaman trip?
Five nights and six days is enough for a first Andaman trip. That covers Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram), Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) and Neil (Shaheed Dweep) with a full day on each island and no back-to-back ferry mornings. Two or three nights covers Port Blair and one island. Eight nights and up is for Baratang, Rangat and Diglipur.
What limits you is ferry timing, not distance. Port Blair to Havelock takes 90 minutes to 2 hours and departures cluster in the early morning, so every island change costs you half a day. Here is what each trip length actually buys you.
- 2N / 3DPort Blair and one island. Enough for a long weekend, with no room for a delay.
- 4N / 5DPort Blair, Havelock and Neil, but the pace is tight and two mornings go to ferries.
- 5N / 6DThe same three islands with a full day on each. The sweet spot for a first trip.
- 6N / 7DRoom for a scuba day or a slow morning. Better if you are travelling with young kids or parents.
- 8N / 9D+Baratang, Rangat and Diglipur. Long road days, far fewer tourists.
Count your travel days honestly. Mainland flights land in Port Blair mid-morning and most return flights leave before noon, so a 5N/6D trip gives you four clean sightseeing days, not six. Plan around that number.

Andaman package with or without flights?
Both options are available. Package prices on this page exclude flights, so what you see is the on-ground cost: hotels, private cabs, ferry tickets and sightseeing. If you would rather we book flights along with the package, we can. Call or WhatsApp us for current fares, because airfare to Port Blair moves daily.
Most travellers book their own tickets and come out cheaper. Three things to get right if you do.
Budget ₹21,000 to ₹31,000 roundtrip per person. Direct flights run from Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Booking six to eight weeks out is what makes the difference.
Land in Port Blair before 11 am for a same-day Havelock ferry. Land later and you are on an afternoon sailing, and if that one is full you spend the night in Port Blair and travel the next morning.
Keep the last day loose. Return flights leave before noon, so do not plan an island morning. Travelling between June and September, add a buffer night in Port Blair; rough seas can cancel ferries at short notice.

How booking works
- 1. Enquire: Pick a package (or describe your trip) and send the enquiry form, or WhatsApp us.
- 2. Get your itinerary: Our team calls you, then shares a complete day-by-day itinerary with the exact price. Itineraries are adjustable; swap attractions, hotels, or islands.
- 3. Confirm: Pay the advance (amount decided at the time of enquiry) to lock hotels and ferries. Pay due balance before departure or at the time of arrival. We accept wire transfers (NEFT/RTGS).
- 4. Travel: Our representative meets you at Port Blair airport; 24/7 support throughout the trip.
Cancellation
- Changes or cancellations are accepted only if written notice reaches us 30+ days before check-in, subject to availability.
- Within 30 days of check-in, no amendments, postponements, or cancellations are possible, and 100% of the package value is retained.
- No refund on bookings made between 15 Dec 2026 and 15 Jan 2027.
- No refund for no-shows, unused nights, or early checkout.
- Mid-tour cancellations are allowed, but the amount is non-refundable.
- If bad weather or unavoidable circumstances cancel a ferry or seaplane to Havelock or other islands, alternative accommodation is arranged in Port Blair, and any extra night in Havelock or Port Blair is charged separately.
- Ferry and hotel components follow their operators’ rules during peak season (late December–early January). For monsoon trips we recommend travel insurance.
Note: Any cancellation carries a surcharge of 10% + 18% taxes, applied while processing the refund.
